KofC Veterans Day Ceremony

The Knights of Columbus would like to invite all Parishioners and Veterans to their Annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Sunday, November 13, at 9:30 am, at the Flagpole/entrance to the parish cemetery, to honor all who have served this Great Nation. Even though Veterans day is celebrated on November 11, 2016, we set aside a day for celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of Country, willingness to serve, and sacrifice for the common good, we celebrate on this weekend. The Knights of Columbus will be placing Flags at the gravesites for the Ceremony, and we are asking for information on any deceased veteran members who have been laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery, or entombed in the Mausoleum. Many of these have already been recorded, or have a VA Marker, but we realize some may not, and we would like to identify all veterans buried here. Please provide any information (full name & location of Grave) to Ron Janak (210-745-0136) Sam Haines (210-413-1474) or Mike Merta (210-995-7220). Please join us as we recognize those who have or are serving.
