Memorial Day Ceremony

The Knights of Columbus would like to invite all parishioners and Veterans to their Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Sunday, May 29, at 9:15 a.m., at the flagpole/entrance to the parish cemetery. This day is to honor and celebrate America's veterans for their patriotism, love of Country, and willingness to serve, and sacrifice for the common good. The Knights of Columbus will be placing flags at the gravesites for the ceremony, and we are asking for information on any deceased veteran members who have been laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery, or entombed in the Mausoleum. Many of these have already been recorded, or have a VA marker, but we realize some may not, and we would like to identify all veterans buried here. Please provide any information (full name & location of grave) to Ron Janak (210-745-0136) Sam Haines (210-413-1474) or Mike Merta (210-995-7220). Please join us as we recognize those who have or are serving.
