The Honey Bee Prayer Quilters are in need of volunteers to help in the making of prayer quilts for individuals that are seriously ill, have had surgeries, are in hospice or are going through some extreme challenges in life. We recently have had a few quilters leave the ministry for various reasons, and a few are not able to come on a regular basis. Our recipient list continues to grow each week and it is becoming difficult to complete the prayer quilts in a timely manner, especially if they are a priority. No one has to know how to sew to be a volunteer. We need help ironing, cutting material, coordinating colors, and tying the quilts. If you are interested in learning to quilt, we will teach you. The quilters meet every Thursday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm in the Education Bldg in Room 202. Please contact Joan Werner at firstname.lastname@example.org or 832-687-0584.
