In joyous celebration of the canonization of both Blessed Pope John Paul II and Blessed Pope John XXIII, St. Joseph - Honey Creek will join with other Catholic churches throughout the world in ringing our church bells. Beginning with the 6:00 a.m. Angelus, our bells will be ringing throughout the day until sunset. All parishioners are encouraged to come and spend some time on the church grounds devoting some time of prayer for the intercession of our two newest Saints. While listening to the bells, Father Jimmy's suggestion is to take a stroll up on the hill, visit the Hill of the Cross, or meditate at the Labyrinth of Hope. At 3:00 p.m. please join in the prayers of adoration in the main church as we remember the our Savior's gift of Divine Mercy, sing the chaplet of Divine Mercy, and listen to the death toll of the bells in remembrance of our Lord's salvific death on the cross. On Divine Mercy Sunday, in addition to participating in the Holy Mass and in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, this extra time with our Lord spent in our beautiful Hill Country setting, will be spiritually uplifting and an occasion of great blessing.
